On behalf of all the staff of Hotel Ilion, I would like to personally express my thanks and gratitude for your continued preference and support throughout our journey, and especially during these difficult times. We always try to provide a safe and welcoming environment for both our guests and our employees, and now, more than ever, we are determined to protect you and your loved ones to the fullest.

 

We closely monitor the updates for COVID-19 and follow all the hygiene and safety protocols as defined by both the National and the World Health Organization. According to government directives, 12-month hotels will be able to be opened safely for arrivals starting in June 2020, with strict health safety protocols.

The hygiene and cleanliness protocols in our hotel are very important and we have implemented additional measures that meet the latest hygiene and cleaning instructions, to ensure the safety of our guests and staff on a daily basis.

 

People with fever or COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to enter. Every day, cleaning and disinfection is carried out in all common areas with increased frequency. Specifically, throughout the lobby and reception. Hand sanitizers have been installed in all public areas but also in the facilities where they are used by the hotel staff. In shared bathrooms, and in office spaces.

CHECK IN / CHECK-OUT
The check out will take place at 11 a.m. while check in is transferred at 15.00 p.m. to thoroughly clean the rooms.

 

ROOMS

Prevention, hygiene and cleanliness protocols are applied to clean rooms with special attention to surfaces and high-risk objects when touched. Thorough cleaning is performed after the visitor leaves and before the next arrival. All non-basic items such as magazines, brochures, decorative pillows, blankets are removed from the rooms.

 

ELEVATORS

Elevators should be used by one person at a time, or by guests where they share the same room. However, we recommend that you use the stairs.

 

DECONTAMINATION

In the case where the potentially ill cannot be transferred to a health center or the nearest hospital, a separate area is created with strict distance and occupancy measures for the rooms and a special cleaning will take place. We work with external disinfection partners as long as this is deemed necessary.

 

CAFE LOUNGE

Guests will only be able to use the outdoor café, according to the new guidelines that apply to restaurants, with tables every 2 meters and up to 4 people at each table. We make sure to continuously ensure hygiene practices and comply with all Food Safety Policies, according to HACCP, as well as with daily cleaning, disinfection of the kitchen and all food preparation areas, surfaces and food storage.

 

STAFF

In addition, the staff is checked daily in each shift, both at the entrance and at the exit of the hotel.
